BUILDING OPERATOR/SUPERVISOR
ROYAL CANADIAN PROPERTIES
Royal Canadian Properties is a Western Canadian commercial property company growing in the Calgary market. We have a position available for an Building Operator/Supervisor for Willowglen Business Park, a 22 acre office park consisting of eleven 1-3 storey office buildings totaling 300,000 square feet.
The successful candidate will be hands on and responsible for all aspects of the day to day coordination of maintenance staff and general repairs and maintenance of facilities.
DUTIES
• Property maintenance and service procedures of all building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Multitasking while providing outstanding customer service.
• Scheduling and overseeing of all outside contractors and tenant improvement work.
• Implementation of maintenance and repair plans as directed by management.
• Supervise and efficiently allocate work to other maintenance staff.
• Daily activities will include the inspection of all buildings and grounds, attending to tenant generated work orders, regular / preventative maintenance, ordering of supplies and related paperwork.
• On call on a rotating basis.
• Snow clearing and landscaping.
SKILLS
The successful candidate should have experience with commercial buildings and should possess the following:
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of construction and maintenance of commercial buildings.
• Excellent communication skills are important due to constant interaction with management, staff and tenants.
• Class 4 or 5 Power Engineer designation (or equivalent experience).
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license.
Compensation
• Salary commensurate with experience.
