Our client is a rapidly growing data governance company expanding into Canada. In recent years, the company has experienced 50-60% year on year with a revenue target of $85-100M in 2012. This role would suit a dynamic individual with experience selling complex software solutions with a sales cycle between 3-12 months, who is a sales hunter and who has worked extensively with Channel Partners to build a strong sales funnel.

Responsibilities
- Expand upon existing sales pipeline by hunting for new sales opportunities in the BC, AB & SK territory.
- Technically-minded in order to understand products enough, to do basic demonstrations and simple problem-solving without Sales Engineer support, if required.
- Support VAR's and End-users if required to secure sales.
- Train VAR representatives.
Requirements
- Ideally minimum of 5 years software sales experience to large organizations and Enterprise-type accounts.
- Extensive experience in working with Channel Partners / VAR's primarily as well as End-users.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills with a very high degree of creative problem solving and intelligence.
- Abilty to relate & train to a certain degree a wide variety of people.
- Based in either Calgary or Vancouver, preference is Calgary due to existing accounts.
On offer is a minimum base salary of $80k with a total OTE of around $175k-200k through multiple revenue streams which are uncapped.
