Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for a EDI ( Electronic Data ;Interchange Support Analyst to provide support to electronic commerce ducuments and processes. The EDI Technical Support Analyst manages the effective processing of EDI documents across various business areas( e.g., Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring daily operational Electronic Data Interchange, troubleshooting and verification of all EDI documents sent and received suing various transmission protocols.
Identification of root cause analysis and resolution of any incidents reported by the monitoring systems and end users.
Interaction with EDI business partners ( Web Form Users and Gateway providers) to ensure functions and precesses are effective and flow throught of documents.
Analysis of EDI performeance metrics. Establish root cause conditions. Recommend and implement solutions.
Assist in developing solutions meeting both business and technical requirments to achieve effecient processing of high-volume EDI transactions.
Assist with the ongoing design, development and support of company wide electronic trading initatives.
Act as the liaison between the IT Team and our EDI business stakeholders. Provide support and communicate with both internal and external users.
Colloborate with IT units and EDI business stakeholders to fully understand the business processes and requirments supoorted by the applications.
Coordinate approvals with our business stakeholders to turn up vendors into production.
Provide training of other IT team members on the concept of EDI and how it is used in the company invironment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

5-7 years of experience in a supply chain and retail environment as well as in EDI file processing in a rapidly growing organization.
Self motivated, focused individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Expertise with EDI, and carrier protocols/transactions and Web-based technology in a retail environment.
Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced and energetic environment with a drive to meet and exceed expectations.
Excellent analytical skills with an acute attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Strong understanding of retail applications such as merchandising, warehousing, inventory management, finance and auditing.
Experience working with JDE & AS400 financial application an asset.
Diploma or eqivalent experience in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred.
