General Kitchen Help/Cold Prep (Calgary )

Shift: Morning Shift
Pay: $13.00
Location: Edmonton
Position Summary: Responsible for all assigned food production
General Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the completion of Production Sheets as assigned by Manager Lead or Executive Chef for food produced
• Ensure that all company programs, menu specifications are followed
• High level of cleanliness is maintained through cleaning schedules
• Quality Assurance standards are followed
• Quality Assurance record keeping and logs are in use
• Health & Safety practices are constantly followed
• Report to work as scheduled
• All work areas are clean, orderly and product is cooked as required (batch cooking)
• Assist with the control of food costs within the production area through batch cooking, quality assurance handling of all food items, effective use of leftovers
Specifics
• Report to work station, dressed (chef's white jacket, black pants, hat, apron), ready to work at scheduled time
• Receive instruction and preparation list from Lead
• Begin assigned production duties
• Work in a timely manner and organized fashion, all items required from cold prep for delivery are to be prepared ½ in advance of event
• Specific duties include but not limited to production of fruit trays, vegetable trays, sandwich trays, canapé platters, cheese trays
Shifts: morning 7:00am -3:30pm and 3:00-11:00pm
