Investment Compliance Specialist - Bermuda

Our client, an international investment management organization has its global headquarters in sunny Bermuda! They are a global leader in their industry and are a high profile, premier employer of professional staff throughout the world. With international headquarters based in Bermuda, the team oversees the corporate finance, legal, fund treasury, investor protection and investment compliance functions globally.

On behalf of their Investment Compliance team, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to support and contribute to the team based in the Bermuda office.

Responsibilities include:
- Review, analysis and resolution of investment breaches
- Analyze and comment on investment guidelines for institutional client accounts
- Evaluation of investment restrictions for compliance testing
- Develop rules structure for automated compliance system
- Development of investment policy statements
- Liaison with international offices
- Other ad hoc projects

We are looking for individuals who meet as much as possible of the following:
- University degree combined with several years of relevant experience in the investments industry
- Completion of /or progress towards the CFA designation
- Prior experience in monitoring investment portfolios for compliance restrictions
- A sound knowledge of financial instruments including equities, fixed income and derivatives
- Experience with the valuation of funds would be an asset
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills

This unique opportunity involves relocating to beautiful Bermuda for a minimum term of 2-3 years. Due to the relocation required, highly portable individuals are sought with outside interests that correspond to Bermuda's idyllic living environment. Compensation is very competitive and subject to a maximum tax rate of 5.25%! Relocation assistance and heath insurance benefits are also offered.
