We are currently looking for a dynamic Key Holder to join our team!
SUMMARY
Key Holders are responsible for assisting the Store Manager and the rest of the management team in order to meet and exceed sales targets, provide optimum customer service and promote the Live Esprit values. Each Key Holder is to support management in order to maximize productivity through product knowledge, customer service and by meeting key store initiatives. Sales Supervisors have opening, closing and general management operational responsibilities that require strict adherence to company policy and procedure.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE. . .
Customer Service & Sales Generation
Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD) in absence of store management presence
Ensures internal and external customer service is provided by all employees
Operations
Opens and closes store in absence of store management according to policy and procedure
Works with management team to ensure effective and timely processing of shipment, receiving, transferring, sensoring, re-pricing, re-tagging, stocking and replenishment according to guidelines
Personnel Management
Maintains a "Live ESPRIT" environment (have passion, be involved, challenge yourself)
Visual & Merchandising
Ensures all visual and housekeeping standards are met per directive
Other
Ensures a safe workplace, prevents accidents and reports all incidents/accidents, unsafe conditions and/or practices immediately
Fulfills other duties and complete assignments as required
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and other team members
Results oriented with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Availability required for a minimum of two (2) weekday opening shifts and open availability for Saturday and/or Sunday for Part-Time
Availability at least 6 days of the week, to be scheduled for a maximum of 5 days from Monday thru Sunday. Minimum of two (2) weekday closing shifts and open availability for both Saturday & Sunday for Full-Time
Comparable previous experience working in a retail environment or a proven track record at Esprit in a Sales Associate capacity
Good verbal & written communication skills
Must be a self-starter who works well independently and in team environments
Strong attention to detail
Ability to act on feedback provided to drive results
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Part-Time Sales Supervisors work no more than 32 hours per week. May be requested to work in excess of 32 hours per week; however, this shall be on an irregular/exceptional basis. Overtime eligibility is in accordance with local employment standard legislation. Esprit does not provide any guarantee of hours for this classification. Hours are scheduled according to the needs of the business. Part-time Sales Supervisors may be required to work certain holidays and blackout dates.
Full-Time Sales Supervisors work between 32-40 hours per week on average. Overtime may be required and management will provide as much notice as possible when this is the case. Overtime eligibility is in accordance with local employment standard legislation. Full-Time Sales Supervisors must maintain open availability to meet the needs of the business and may be required to work certain holidays and blackout dates.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is performed in a comfortable retail apparel store environment with freedom of movement and occasional use of ladders. Travelling to other stores may be required on occasion.
Moderate physical effort is required and significant walking and standing is required for the majority of each shift. While this position has a low risk of injury, the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling and holding (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support) of boxes and store fixtures, as well as, significant focus when completing paperwork, cash management or using the POS.
