About the Opportunities
We are seeking several driven and enthusiastic Call Centre Specialists to join our team in Calgary. These are outstanding opportunities to work for important causes such as The Weekend to End Women's Cancers, and the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
The primary purpose of these roles is to ensure the participation and fundraising success of the events through education, motivation, and support of participants. In this phone based role, you will be the first point of contact for people seeking information about these inspiring events!
In this full time role, you will:
Make outbound registration phone calls to people who have requested information;
Phone participants to motivate and provide support;
Teach and share techniques for each participant to reach their goals;
Serve as Event Staff during the event; and
Coach and be the main contact of information for all participants.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in sales or telephone service, and will enjoy talking with people over the phone. The drive to do all it takes to produce a successful event will also be paramount to your success.
If you are friendly, motivated and have the passion to make a difference, this is the job for you! Applicants for this role will have a genuine concern for helping others, a willingness to work flexible hours, and have a confident, professional demeanour. You will be an effective team member and be able to contribute to a positive working environment. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
