Our Westwinds Calgary facility requires an energetic and professional Graphic Artist to join our team.
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
Requirements:
All candidates must provide a portfolio of their work
Post Secondary Education in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Business or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with CS4 software suite (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Quark Xpress, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Educational experience will be considered.
Strong written skills required to compliment technical expertise.
Working knowledge of digital file preparation for digital print media.
Computer illustration and photo retouching experience a plus.
Working with forms design is a plus.
Competencies Required for Success
Creative graphical capabilities.
Task oriented with the ability to execute a given project (set of projects) from start to finish in a timely manner.
Strong ‘team player’ skills enabling interaction within an existing account team as well as select interaction with the various business units within The DATA Group.
