Job Summary:
The Inventory/ Materials technician is responsible for processing accurate and suditable inventory asset movement control documentation in the SAP MM operating systems module for the assigned area of responsibility.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
a) Process purchase requisitions and goods receipts in compliance with SAP operating systems requirements and the Clients policies and procedures.
b) Process controlled inventory asset sales documentation in compliance with SAP operating systems requirements and the clients policy and procedures
c) Process controlled inventory asset rental documentation in compliance with SAP operating systems requirements and the Clients policies and procedures.
d) Create and process credit and debit AFE's for controlled inventory assets where SAP systems requirements dictate and, where a Production or Facilities Engineer does not have involvement in the asset movement
Education:
Must have obtained, be enrolled or willing to enroll in a diploma course for Business Administration, related Materials management and Supply Chain Management Courses.
Experience:
1-5yrs or experience in an oil & gas related materials management organization with demonstrated computer and analytical skills.
Primary Skills and Attributes:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of Oil & Gas related accounting practices for capital equipment and joint venture processes.
2. Good computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Words programs, SAP MM experience is beneficial
2. Must have the capability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to prioritize, organize and manage a fluctuating workload
3. Oil & Gas materials knowledge is beneficial
4. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Only those who reside in Calgary and possess the required skills will be considered for the position.
