Speech Language Specialized Services Team Member

Pacekids is a group of family-oriented, therapeutic and active learning programs tailored to children with special needs. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to address both the physical and developmental needs of a child. Our programs address a broad spectrum of needs, from individual therapy to structured programs, as well as those of the family. Our Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists work collaboratively to plan and deliver treatment plans based on measurable goals and objectives. We are currently seeking two full time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Calgary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively supporting children with speech and language difficulties and promoting communication competence for children to enhance their success
Working in homes with children, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to assess children's communication needs and to develop/provide home-based interventions for children
Working in consultation and collaboration with families, FSCD personnel, and multidisciplinary team members around developing programming to meet children's communication and learning needs
EXPERIENCE
1+ years working as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Clinical experience in pediatric Speech and Language therapy doing assessment direct treatment and consultation
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Completion of a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
Registered member with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
