You already have wonderful training and you understand what's required to work safely and effectively with seniors. If you would like to expand your work opportunities with seniors, with the potential to make $60/hour, then consider training as a Senior Wellness Practitioner and joining our Senior Wellness Practitioner Network.
Senior Wellness Practitioners specialize in helping their clients meet their 5 core wellness needs: enhancing their balance and stability to reduce the risk of falling, helping them cope with chronic pain, improving their circulation, helping them relax and sleep better; and overall, helping them enjoy their daily activities with more energy and enjoyment. They provide their service in all levels of retirement residences, senior activity centers and on a home delivered basis. Most practitioners work part-time and scheduling client visits is easy to coordinate around other work obligations.
If you would like to find out more about the career opportunities in the field of senior wellness, please join us for our upcoming Senior Wellness Career Information Workshop on Sunday, Dec. 4th from 1:00 -- 3:00 pm at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, 1316 -- 33 Street. In this $20 workshop you will learn about the work itself and the details related to becoming nationally certified as a Senior Wellness Practitioner.
