Geospatial Account Manager at Bentley Systems (Western Canada)

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a member of our team as a Geospatial Account Manager in Western Canada. The successful candidate will manage a set of corporate accounts, as well as seek and develop new accounts. Responsibilities will include:
• Prospecting and closing business
• Establishing and developing business relationships
• Proactively promoting sales programs to existing customers and new prospects
• Proactively engaging in the sales cycles
• Creating and managing effective account business plans
• Increasing in-person prospect and customer meetings
• Creating and delivering web presentations and demonstrations for prospects and customers
• Maintaining appropriate records and forecasts in the SAP system
• Participating in remote and in-person team Sales meetings
• Attending tradeshows/conferences – national and regional
• Collaborating and communicating with various internal Bentley business units
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in software and/or consultant and services sales to the architecture, engineering and construction industries
• Experience in selling software solutions is desired
• Experience in selling to government entities is desired
• Travel may be required
• Knowledge of CRM systems as well as Microsoft Office tools is required
• A proven track record of successfully managing a field sales territory
• Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
• Possess a general understanding of business organizations and strategies
• Ability to think strategically and work remotely
• High drive to achieve, professional, and coachable attitude
• Proficient in a team environment as well as on solo projects
• Capable of making executive-level calls, developing solutions that help the client, and then mobilizing the internal assets to deliver on time and above expectations
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A bachelor’s degree and job related experience is preferred, but a minimum of 7 years of experience and an appropriate documented track record will also be considered
