wash & peel vegetables & fruit; wash work tables, cupboards & appliances; remove trash & clear kitchen garbage containers; unpack & store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards & other storage areas; sweep & mop floors, & perform other duties to assist cook & kitchen staff; clear & clean tables & trays in main dining room & preparation area between kitchen & service area; bring clean dishes, flatware & other items to serving areas & set tables; replenish condiments & other supplies at tables & in serving areas; remove dishes before & after courses; perform other duties such as scraping & stacking dishes, carrying linen to & from from laundry area & running errands; wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots & pans using dishwasher or by hand; place dishes in storage area; scour pots & pans, & may clean & polish silverware; clean, peel, slice & trim foodstuffs using manual & electric appliances; stock refrigerators & salad bars & keep records of the quantities of food used
may work only as a dishwasher, kitchen helper with some duties for front of the house and back of the house with above duties
$10.96 to $13.80 per hour - 40 hour work week = 15 positions open = high end Japanese restaurant
