Work setting: Restaurant, formal dining room, catering
Skills: Serve food and beverages; general plate service; present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, travellers cheques, credit or debit cards; describe menu items including daily specials for customers; advise on menu selections; present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware; customer service oriented; must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages; enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations; balance cash and record sales; clear and clean tables, trays and chairs; load buspans and trays; set tables; replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas; replace linen
Other information: Uniform required. Public transportation is available. Must be bondable. Experience will be an asset but we are willing to train. Customer service skills are essential. Speed and observation expertise are critical. Required to work evenings and weekends.
