We are currently looking for a full time General Labour in Calgary, AB, working for one of the largest and most dynamic companies in the nation.
In this position, you'll be a key player in keeping things moving smoothly. You will:
Determine method of shipment
Schedule distribution of goods and transportation
Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
Assemble containers and crates
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
Maintain internal record-keeping system (including recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods)
Route goods to appropriate storage areas
Oversee loading and unloading of goods
You can see it. More challenging work. A more interesting work environment. You are a self starter. Hard worker, and are able to work independently while taking the initiative to get things done efficiently and effectively!
Are you interested? Qualified candidates will possess the following:
High School Diploma
2 to 3 years' shipping/receiving experience
Experience operating forklifts and powered cranes
Valid Class 5 License (no GDL)
Proficient math skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time
Ability to pass a clean criminal record check
