Our client, a leader in records management, is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join their project team in managing a large number of well records. This is a temporary position that potentially begins in January 2012.
Essential Capabilities
• Duties:
o Checking files in/out (barcode scanner)
o Pulling requested files for clients
o Creating new files in system
o Creating new physical files, apply labels/barcodes to folders
o Receiving, sorting and filing loose documents into 6-section well files
o Reviewing well file documents and filing files accordingly, e.g. Drilling & Completions, Regulatory, Finance, Analysis & Testing, etc.
• 2 years of related experience in Oil and Gas and/or Records Management
• Understanding of industry and well file terminology
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent data entry skills required (accuracy/speed)
• The ability to retain an intermediate overall knowledge of well files
Superstar Qualities
• An aptitude to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Ability to recognize and correct errors (mis-files)
• Good listener – ability to apply knowledge to tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great team player!
