My Client, a large Commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking a Project Coordinator/Administrator for their Calgary office. This position reports to the Director of Operations and will provide administrative support during all aspects of the Project Management process. The Project Coordinator will attend meetings and take minutes, compose letters and draft proposals, work closely with tenants to organize project timelines and coordination, work with budgets and approvals, liaise between contractors, work with flow charts and deliverables, ensure that all applicable procedures are followed, communicate with internal and external departments, oversee the creation and maintenance of purchase orders for consultants and contractors, maintain consultants /contractors contract files, coordinate daily activities related to project information flows, data entry for Project Management and Financial Systems for projects, maintenance of the Document Management System, verify and validate of project information through system reports. Qualifications for this position include, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills, ability to work independently and in a team, proven experience in documentation control and customer service. Must be Professional and approachable and posses strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to create user-friendly and informative reports for management and analytical purposes. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with adaptability to change and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Practical experience in a construction or project management environment is a definite asset. The Project Coordinator will be required to demonstrate resourcefulness and solid time management skills with strong initiative, energy and motivation. Additional requirements for the position are, a College Degree or certification preferably in Project Management, Architecture technology, mechanical/ electrical technology or a Minimum of 3 to 5 years general construction and project management experience.
