Post Office Manager (Cambrian Pharmacy)

Cambrian Pharmacy is looking for a Post Office manager to start immediately. Cambrian Pharmacy is an independently owned and operated pharmacy with an independent retail post office located inside the store. Cambrian Pharmacy offers pleasant working conditions, opportunity for advancement, and benefits. Work hours will include some evenings and weekends, however we are closed Sundays and most holidays. We are looking for someone who likes to think outside the box, is open to continuously learning, and interacts well with team members and customers. This position would be full time.
Qualifications:
• Thorough knowledge of and experience in retail postal outlet operations with 3-5 years of direct experience.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and parcels.
• Bondable, organized, self-directed with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and direct the work of others.
• Committed to providing superior customer service.
• Able to problem solve, make decisions and devise appropriate solutions.
Primary roles:
• Organizing and delivering full service retail postal services including courier items, postal boxes, money transfers and parcels.
• Maximizing department revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and implement department sales and merchandising initiatives.
• Communicate and provide development leadership to the department team members.
• Communicate and liaison with Canada Post.
• Inventory management and ordering product.
Additional roles:
• Front till and POS operations
• Assist with merchandizing the retail store front
• Special projects as assigned
• Various other retail jobs
Skills and Abilities:
• Work as a team member within the pharmacy and with other departments
• Strong team motivator and is able to adapt to changing initiatives and goals
• Able to work in a fast paced customer focused environment
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written
• High level customer service skills
• Computer skills are an asset
• Understanding of merchandising, pharmacy and retailing would be an asset.
