We are looking for User Experience Designers for a project in Calgary. This is going to be for 4-6 months duration. US Citizen/US Green Card / Canadian Citizen/ Immigrant in Canada
Play a key role in defining and developing the user experience for Infosys' clients' products.
Required::::>>>>>>>>>>>>
Strong knowledge of site design; mastery in principles of Web design (HCI, HTML, CSS)
Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
Working knowledge of User Centered Design Principles and Practices
Exceptional communication skills
Good leadership and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented
Comfortable in a fast-pace environment
Qualification
BA or BS in the following: Graphic/Visual Arts, Library and Information Science, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Sciences, Marketing, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related area
Experience Required( In Years)
A Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience with listed responsibilities and skill sets is required for this role
Lead user interviews, contextual inquiry and any opportunity to understand the users of our clients' products
Work with product managers, engineers and other designers in drafting initial concepts
Implement the creative vision and overall UX for projects based on design objectives, product requirements, functional specs, and an iterative feedback process
Convey design ideas via storyboards, and prototyping tools
Create deployment-quality mocks and prototypes on tight timelines
Maintain and refine graphic standards and corporate branding throughout the product's interface
Review completed projects for consistent and correct look and feel
Support development teams through implementation
Skills
5+ years of professional web application design experience with an emphasis on interaction, and visual design
Experience working on large, complex sites
Experience observing user research and translating user research into design decisions
Drive and passion to improving user experience & usability
Web product design experience required
Understanding of graphical web design principles, typography, composition, and iconography. Ability to design from style guides
Ability to collaborate effectively with a group of creative individuals to produce highly polished and professional finished works
Ability to accept and design against feedback in an iterative development process
Ability to produce effective ideas under tight timelines
Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or Fireworks
Recognized as deeply knowledgeable and experienced in their space; serves as a reference within the team
Ability to handle open-ended design projects that may be ambiguous or ill-defined
Anticipates issues and thinks of the big picture
Aware of industry trends, able to incorporate new techniques and informs others
Bachelors in any design or related discipline
