As a hands-on Deli Supervisor of a very busy deli, you will supervise Deli sales staff. Supervisory responsibilities include:
-Overseeing the Deli in absence of Deli Manager.
-Supervising Deli staff (hire, train, and evaluate job performance).
-Ensuring that packaging and labelling of products meets Planet’s standards, products and supplies are restocked, work areas are cleaned.
-Maintaining department merchandising and signage.
-Monitoring customer service and resolving problems.
-Meeting sales, profit, labour, inventory standards.
-Assisting Deli Manager with receipt and inspection of incoming products for quality and accuracy (and resolving problems).
We are seeking a candidate with 3 years of related experience which includes experience in ordering and receiving as well as a strong background in cooking and baking.
