SALARY/WAGES ARE BELOW:

NANNY/: £3,000 Monthly (weekly allowance £150)

The role would also involve light housekeeping (laundry, ironing, maintaining a clean environment for the girls etc).

Summary

The primary objective of this procurement role is to ensure that AltaLink is receiving the best possible value on its procured goods and services, while minimizing commercial and legal risk and meeting the requirements of internal clients.

Responsibilities
• Creating and managing purchase orders making sure that commitments are met and issues are resolved.
• Collaborating with internal clients to determine upcoming requirements and specifications.
• Managing the competitive bid process for materials and services including developing competitive bid documents, managing the bid process to ensure fairness and compliance with competitive bid law, analyzing bids and making recommendations, and negotiating contract details.
• Defining material requirements by determining customer needs and potential sources of supply, and verifying that materials will meet existing specifications and standards.
• Managing supplier relationships, including the identification and development of key suppliers.
• Providing input on the development of strategies for process and efficiency improvement.
• Participating on process improvement teams.
• Leading discussions with potential sources of supply to certify that requirements, specifications, and standards can be met.
• Analyzing supplier and commodity spend.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years related experience in supply chain management or procurement.
• University degree or PMAC SCMP (CPP) designation, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Proficiency in written and oral communications.
• A self starter who is able to work both independently, and collaboratively as a member of a team, and who is able to provide dedicated attention and support to Procurement’s internal customers.
• Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.

7 month old baby girl with a tracheostomy needs home care during 1 night per week, we live in the NW area, about 10 minutes from the Children’s Hospital

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

monitoring the baby girl at all times during the night, this involves staying with the baby in her room
provide care for the baby as needed throughout the night which includes suctioning secretions from her tracheostomy tube as required and changing diapers as required
feeding not required as baby is breastfed, unless mother unavailable, then bottle feeding might be required
monitoring equipment to ensure proper functioning and settings, including compressor, oxygen tanks, suctioning machine
training will be provided and paid for

Work Schedule:

Monday to Thursday from 10 pm until 8 am (flexible) — START ASAP

Qualifications:

must have previous experience working with babies
must have valid Pediatric CPR and Fist Aid Training
must be able to work legally in Canada
must be able to pass a background check

Personal Qualities:

ability to stay awake during the entire night shift (10 hours)
